Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi

Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi is a Hindu temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is built around the prison cell where Krishna is said to have been born.It is situated next to Kesava Deo Temple and the Shahi Eid Gah Mosque. Photography is banned inside the complex by the government.[4][

The original temple was built by King Vajra, then later rebuilt by Vikramaditya. The temple is said to have been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times in its history. Today the temple is one of the most frequently visited temples in India.[1][2]

Gita Mandir

Gita Mandir or Birla Mandir is a neat & clean, and well-maintained shrine that offers its pilgrimage a devotional atmosphere. Iskcon Temple Vrindavan or Sri Krishna Balrama Temple

Sri Krishna Balrama Temple is acknowledged for being the first temple constructed by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Built in 1975 by the ISKCON cult, the foundation of the shrine was laid by Swami Prabhupada (founder of ISKCON) himself. Located at Raman Reti in Vrindavan, the temple can be easily reached by regular transport from the western part of Uttar Pradesh. From Delhi, one can get in touch with the temple by taking regular buses or by hiring taxis.

In the vein of other temples made by the society, Sri Krishna Balrama Mandir is too called as Iskcon Temple all over. After the original construction, the temple complex has extended evidently, to accomplish the vision of Swami Prabhupada, for an international center in Vrindavan. The temple stands on the banks of Yamuna River, where Sri Krishna along with Balrama used to herd their cows. How To Reach

By Air:Vrindavan is well linked to the rest of the country by means of road, air and rail. So, Reaching Vrindavan would be a child's play. International travelers coming to Vrindavan via air route can use the Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi. This is the nearest airport from Vrindavan at a distance of 150 kms. The journey from the airport to Vrindavan would take around 3 and a half hours.

By Rail:Vrindavan has no long-distance rail station. So, if you are planning your Vrindavan Tour via the rail route, you would need to use the closest major rail head at Mathura. The rail station at Mathura is about 14 kms from Vrindavan. You may take a half-hour taxi ride for this distance. By Road:For Reaching Vrindavan, you can also take the road. There are a small number of direct buses that ply between Delhi and Vrindavan. So, you can board the Mathura bus, get down at Chatikara Road and then take a motor-rickshaw or a tempo to reach Vrindavan. Private taxis can be hired too from Delhi to reach Vrindavan. Vrindavan is also well connected via road to Haridwar, Agra, Jaipur and other key cities of India.

Dwarkadheesh temple Mathura

Sri Dwarkadheesh Mandir (Hindi: श्री द्वारकाधीश मंदिर) is one of the oldest and largest temples of Mathura city in States of Indiaof India, India. This is a major and famous Hindu shrine, and its current structure was built up by Seth Gokul Das Parikh, the treasurer of then Gwalior State(Scindia) in 1814.It was built for the famous Hindu deity Dwarkadheesh (meaning the God or king of Dwarka, where Lord Krishna has shifted from Mathura and settled till his life on earth). There the main deity is of Lord Dwarkadheesh, a form of Lord Krishna seen in a black Marble idol named Dwarkanath. With him is the White marble idol of his counterpart deity Sri Radharani.

Architecture

The temple is having a good large premises with the main building enclosed by a magnificently carved Rajasthani style entrance with steep steps leading to temple courtyard. In the central courtyard a platform is built up lined up with three rows of richly carved pillars and support the ceiling which is also beautifully painted. Another small temple of another form of Lord Krishna (Vishnu) Shaligram is also built up within the temple courtyard.

Festivals

The temple management is under the followers of Vallabhacharya sect (whose followers were the original founders of the premises). A Hindola festival is celebrated in the rainy month of Shravan (Occurring in July/August). The temple in this duration is beautifully decorated in some theme colours and the lord Dwarkadheesh is placed in beautifully decorated in silver and golden Jhoola (swing) for special darshan. Temple is having good religious significance and therefore lakhs of pilgrims visit the shrine every year from different parts of the country and even abroad.

How To Reach

By Air:Mathura city can be approached by nearest airport at Agra 60 km away. From there a cab or bus for Mathura depot can be taken and then reach the temple by taking a connecting auto or rickshaw.

By Rail:This Temple is about 3.5 km from city main railway station Mathura Junction. From there many modes are available to reach the temple e.g. autorickshaw takes about 10 minutes to reach the temple. A cycle rickshaw takes about 15–20 minutes only.

जयगुरुदेव मन्दिर मथुरा

मथुरा में आगरा-दिल्ली राजमार्ग पर स्थित जय गुरुदेव आश्रम की लगभग डेढ़ सौ एकड़ भूमि पर संत बाबा जय गुरुदेव की एक अलग ही दुनिया बसी हुई है। उनके देश विदेश में 20 करोड़ से भी अधिक अनुयायी हैं। उनके अनुयायियों में अनपढ़ किसान से लेकर प्रबुद्ध वर्ग तक के लोग हैं। व्यक्ति, समाज और राष्ट्र को सुधारने का संकल्प लेकर जय गुरुदेव धर्म प्रचारक संस्था एवं जय गुरुदेव धर्म प्रचारक ट्रस्ट चला रहे हैं, जिनके तहत तमाम लोक कल्याणकारी योजनाएं चल रही हैं। उन्होंने अपने विचारों को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए दूरदर्शी पार्टी की भी स्थापना की हुई है। उन्होंने इस पार्टी के माध्यम से समाज की बिगड़ी हुई व्यवस्था को वैचारिक क्रांति के द्वार ठीक करने का बीड़ा उठाया है। वह भूमि जोतक, खेतिहर-काश्तकार संगठन भी चला रहे हैं।

जीवन परिचय

बाबा जय गुरुदेव का वास्तविक नाम तुलसीदास है। उनके गुरु श्री घूरेलाल जी थे जो अलीगढ़ के चिरौली ग्राम (इगलास तहसील) के निवासी थे। उन्हीं के पास बाबा वर्षों रहे। उनके गुरु जी ने उनसे मथुरा में किसी एकांत स्थान पर अपना आश्रम बनाकर ग़रीबों की सेवा करने के लिए कहा था। अतः जब उनके गुरु जी का सन् 1948 की अगहन सुदी दशमी को शरीर नहीं रहा, तब उन्होंने अपने गुरु स्थान चिरौली के नाम पर सन् 1953 में मथुरा के कृष्णा नगर में चिरौली संत आश्रम की स्थापना करके अपने मिशन की शुरुआत की। बाद में बाबा जय गुरुदेव ने सन् 1962 में मथुरा में ही आगरा-दिल्ली राजमार्ग पर स्थित मधुवन क्षेत्र में डेढ़ सौ एकड़ भूमि ख़रीदकर अपने मिशन को और अधिक विस्तार दिया। बाबा जय गुरुदेव अपने प्रत्येक कार्य में अपने गुरुदेव का स्मरण कर जय गुरुदेव का उद्घोष करते हैं इसलिए वह बाबा जय गुरुदेव के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हो गये। उन्हें उनके वास्तविक नाम तुलसीदास के नाम से बहुत कम व्यक्ति जानते हैं।

नि:शुल्क शिक्षा और चिकित्सा

Tबाबा जयगुरुदेव आध्यात्मिक साधना, मद्य निषेद, शाकाहार, दहेज रहित सामूहिक विवाह, वृक्षारोपण, नि:शुल्क शिक्षा, नि:शुल्क चिकित्सा आदि पर विशेष बल देते हैं। इन्हीं सबके निमित्त वह अपने देश के विभिन्न अंचलों की यात्राएं कर असंख्य व्यक्तियों को जाग्रत करते रहते हैं। बाबा ने मलेशिया, सिंगापुर, क्वालालम्पुर और नेपाल आदि की यात्राएं कीं।

नाम योग साधना मंदिर

बाबा जयगुरुदेव ने अपने आश्रम में अपने सदगुरुदेव ब्रह्मलीन श्री घूरेलाल जी महाराज की पुण्य स्मृति में 160 फुट ऊँचे नाम योग साधना मंदिर का निर्माण कराया हुआ है। सफ़ेद संगमरमर से बना यह मंदिर ताजमहल जैसा प्रतीत होता है। इस मंदिर की डिजाइन में मंदिर-मस्जिद का मिला-जुला रूप है। यह मंदिर समूचे ब्रज का सबसे ऊंचा व अनोखा मंदिर है । इस मंदिर में 200 फुट लंबा व 100 फुट चौड़ा सत्संग हॉल है, जिसमें लगभग साठ हज़ार व्यक्ति एक साथ बैठ सकते हैं। पूरा मंदिर स्वंयसेवियों के द्वारा बिना किसी प्रतिफल के श्रमदान से बना है। मंदिर के 'ताज' की ऊंचाई 21 फुट 6 इंच और व्यास 6 फुट है। 'ताज' में कुल 11 खंड हैं। जिनमें एक के ऊपर एक छोटे-बड़े 6 कलश एवं गुम्बद पर कमल का फूल रखा हुआ है। 'ताज' का मूल ढांचा तांबे से बना है और उस पर सोने की पर्त चढ़ी हुई है। इसमें कोई मूर्ति नहीं है और बाबा जयगुरुदेव के अनुयायी यहाँ योग साधना–पूजा करते हैं।

कंकाली देवी का मंदिर

आज हम आपको दर्शन करा रहे हैं मथुरा की मां कंकाली देवी के। मां कंकाली देवी अपने आप में अद्भुत हैं, इन्हें कृष्णा काली कंकाली मां के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। काली माता का ये मंदिर हजारों वर्ष पुराना है। यह मथुरा के प्रसिद्ध मंदिरों में से एक है।

हर मुराद होती है पूरी

दूर-दूर से आते हैं भक्त

योगमाया हिन्दू धर्म की एक प्रमुख देवी हैं। अषाढ़ मास के सोमवारों को यहां मेलों का आयोजन किया जाता है। जिसमें एक मुर्गा से नवजात शिशुओं को आशीर्वाद रूपी झाड़ा लगता है। जिसके फल स्वरूप बच्चों को शारीरिक कष्टों, जैसे फोड़े, फुंसी, पीलिया और पोलियो जैसे रोगों से मुक्ति मिलती है। मान्यता है कि देवी दर्शनों से पहले सोमवार के दिन इस मुर्गे का आशीर्वाद लेना होता है और पास ही में बने कुंए के जल से छींटे मार कर ही मंदिर में पूजा के लिए प्रवेश किया जाता है।

राक्षसों को मारने के लिए लिया था अवतार

माना जाता है कि कंकाली देवी जिनका अवतार राक्षसों को मारने के लिए हुआ था, योगमाया हैं। उनको ख़ासतौर पर बंगाल और असम में पूजा जाता है। काली की व्युत्पत्ति काल अथवा समय से है जो सबको ग्रास कर लेता है। इन्हें कृष्ण काली कंकाली भी कहा जाता है। बंगला में काली का एक और अर्थ होता है स्याही या रोशनाई काली को देवी दुर्गा की दस महाविद्याओं में से एक भी माना जाता है। देवी काली एक शक्ति, अनन्त ऊर्जा और लौकिक सत्ता के कट्टर रूपों में से एक हैं। काली पूरे अस्तित्व को नष्ट करने की ताकत है बुराई से लड़ने के लिए आवश्यक ताकत का प्रतीक मानी जाती हैं।

Mahavidya Devi Temple

Mathura is the revered city for the devotees of Lord Krishna. It hosts all the memoirs of various life stages of Lord Krishna. Along with these temples Mathura is a part of four ancient Shakti-Peeths. Mahavidya Devi Temple is situated towards west side of Mathura city near Ramleela ground. It is also known as Ambika Devi. This magnificent temple is built in Nagar style of architecture on high plinth level. Its astonishing sculpture and vast dimensions attracts devotees from far and wide. On the auspicious day of Dusshera, the people enacting as Ram-Laxman performs puja here before proceeding for Ravan Vadh. As in many Indian temples, this temple has its own kund known as Mahavidya Kund.

The idol of Mahavidya Devi is erected on high lamps and is greatly decorated. The beautiful eyes of the deity are splendid and attract immediate attention of viewers. These seem to shine and radiate with a divine light. Daily puja is performed at this temple. The deity is said to be the Kul Devi of Nand Baba of Gokul. It is also believed that Pandavas during their stay in forests (vanwas) stayed here and performed puja of Goddess Shakti. The present temple is said to be erected by Marathas and was renovated by Tantrik saint Sheelchandra in 1907.
